HEALTH, FITNESS AND WELLBEING BLUEPRINT

First up, I've prepared the booklet, 'Health, fitness and Wellbeing Blueprint' which outlines:

the flaw in the way workers compensation premiums are rated

the rationale for emphasizing the need for corporate organisations to measure, manage and

monitor the health, fitness and wellbeing of their staff

the programs and assessments that Miller Health delivers.

You can download a copy of the Blueprint on this link.

It will provide you with the sort of risk assessment information that insurers don't rate their premiums against. You have to do it yourself.

The booklet is written as a blueprint that can be tailored by organisations and given to their staff.

2 HOUR MUSCULO-SKELETAL HEALTH PROGRAM

There is an epidemic of poor musculo-skeletal health in our corporate organisations. This two-hour program is essential for organisations that want to measure, manage and monitor this risk and prevent the impact that personally-generated joint and muscle 'injuries' have on their staff and their workers compensation arrangements:

http://www.millerhealth.com.au/programs/musculo_skeletal_health_seminar.html

Poor musculo-skeletal health is a workers compensation time bomb. In just about any group of people, when asked to rate the current condition of their musculo-skeletal health system, 50 percent of people will give themselves 5/10 or less.

The workplace is littered with bodies teetering on the edge of the workers compensation cliff: bodies with skeletons already out of alignment: bodies that are not strong enough to do every tasks (including sitting on a chair in an office or the drivers seat in a truck) without breaking down: bodies that are out of shape: bodies waiting for an incident to come along and tip them over the edge.

Care and concern
For organisations there's a duty of care and concern. I'm yet to see anyone who didn't want to be pain free and yet most people have never been taught the strength and flexibility exercises they need to do to get their skeletons back into better alignment - and pain free. Until now!

Risk to workers compensation arrangements - the need for an audit
Then there's the concern for your workers compensation premiums. We've reached the point where the key driver of escalating premiums is not genuine workplace accidents; it's people whose skeletons are out of alignment, whose muscles are not strong enough to support their skeleton while they go about every day tasks, who already have aches and pains and who are not in work-fit condition. Of late the other key driver is work-induced psycho-social trauma.

This is an audit tool that enables organisations to measure, monitor and manage the risk of people in poor musculo-skeletal health becoming workers compensation candidates.

THE SEMINAR

The two hour musculo-skeletal health seminar addresses the issues raised above.

Follow the links to see exactly what's included in the seminar by downloading the seminar advert and the seminar workbook.

During the seminar participants are

taught the common causes of (personally-generated) joint and muscle pain - skeletons that are

     out of alignment

taken through three assessments the results of which are forwarded to yourself - and

taught the key exercises they need to do on a regular and systematic basis to get their skeletons

back into better alignment and their bodies back into work-fit condition.

Providing I start early enough I can conduct four (4) two-hour seminars in a day, each one with 20-25 participants.

RISK ASSESSMENT

The seminar comes with a series of assessments that lets organisations know exactly what the risk is that they're carrying.

You can view the assessments in the workbook and sample results on this link:

CLINICAL DIAGNOSTIC ASSESSMENT

Some of your staff, those with severe joint and muscle pain, those at risk to your workers compensation arrangements and those who are currently on workers compensation will benefit from a one-on-one Clinical Diagnostic Assessment. You can review the nature of the assessment on this link:

THE SEVEN HABITS OF FIT AND HEALTHY PEOPLE

This is my one day, signature program designed to inspire and motivate your staff to keep themselves fit and healthy to the best of their ability. You can read all about it on this link:

THE BOTTOM LINE

As mentioned earlier, for the musculo-skeletal health program I can conduct four, two-hour seminars in a day, catering for a total of 80 - 100 people.

My fees are currently $2,000 per day, plus

$8 per person to collate the individual results and prepare the audit report

accommodation and sustentation at your organisation's rates

    a share of the travel.

It is always my intention to include a number of organisations in the one 'trip'.

You can view all my programs and assessments on this link:

Whilst you can mix and match seminars, I've found the Musculo-skeletal Health seminar to be the most useful and necessary.

I'll keep in touch.

If you're interested, please let me know.

Regards and best wishes
